關於 scisprint / About scisprint
sciwork 是由一群對高效能運算、科學數值運算與開源專案有興趣的學者同好與工程師組成的社群。透過實體的活動，促進相關軟體工程的發展。在高效能與科學運算的領域裡，科學與軟體工程多領域的整合是很重要的環節。然而，無論是已經有相關經驗的專業人士或是剛剛踏入這個領域的新鮮人，鮮少有機會可以讓彼此交流經驗。為此，scisprint，一個由 sciwork 社群所主持的 coding sprint 活動，透過每個月實體面對面的軟體協作開發，促成相關領域的人一起討論交流，降低這些領域的進入門檻與建立活絡的社群。
sciwork 社群在多次舉辦 scisprint 的經驗中，受到來自不同背景的軟體開發者、科研學術工作者與校園新鮮人的歡迎。scisprint 主題多元，除了針對科研主題的專案外，也有各種軟體開發工具的分享與小型工作坊 (workshop)。
無論是已經有開發經驗的開發者，或是剛剛開始學習相關知識的新鮮人，與會者都能得到第一手的開發經驗並參與改進開源專案。
