關於 Scisprint / About Scisprint

 

sciwork 是由一群對高效能運算、科學數值運算與開源專案有興趣的學者同好與工程師組成的社群。透過實體的活動，促進相關軟體工程的發展。在高效能與科學運算的領域裡，科學與軟體工程多領域的整合是很重要的環節。然而，無論是已經有相關經驗的專業人士或是剛剛踏入這個領域的新鮮人，鮮少有機會可以讓彼此交流經驗。為此，scisprint，一個由 sciwork 社群所主持的 coding sprint 活動，透過每個月實體面對面的軟體協作開發，促成相關領域的人一起討論交流，降低這些領域的進入門檻與建立活絡的社群。

sciwork 社群在多次舉辦 Scisprint 的經驗中，受到來自不同背景的軟體開發者、科研學術工作者與校園新鮮人的歡迎。Scisprint 主題多元，除了針對科研主題的專案外，也有各種軟體開發工具的分享與小型工作坊 (workshop)。

無論是已經有開發經驗的開發者，或是剛剛開始學習相關知識的新鮮人，與會者都能得到第一手的開發經驗並參與改進開源專案，本次活動包含專案開發(hacking session)及職涯對談(career conversation)。

• uTensor
  uTensor is an extremely lightweight machine learning inference framework built on TensorFlow and optimized for Arm targets. It consists of a runtime library and an offline tool that handles most of the model translation work. This repo holds the core runtime and some example implementations of operators, memory managers/schedulers, and more, and the size of the core runtime is only ~2KB!

  The Traditional Chinese (zh_TW) translation project of the Python official documents. Project.

• Cytnx
  Cytnx is a scientific library which aims to provide similar experience as using numpy/scipy/pytorch.
  Thus, although Cytnx is written in C++, there's python binding for users familiar wtih python. On the other hand, it aims to provides many efficient methods to manipulate tensors, tensor networks, linear algebra. All the critical calculation are come with CPU and GPU dedicated implementations to achieve fully usage of computer resource.
